Chapter Eighty

Lucinda entered the driver's seat after arguing with her daughter for almost an hour. Okay, maybe she was kidding a little bit. They just argued for a few minutes and she had won the argument even though her daughter was still pouting as she entered the passenger seat.

The argument was that she couldn't drive a car in her condition. It wasn't allowed and she had refused vehemently. She wouldn't be treated as an invalid even though she was very happy with her daughter's suggestion.

Ever since her daughter's sudden proclamation at the beach about the love she had for her mom, she felt her heart flutter happily in her chest. She was very happy and excited.

"Mom, this is very dangerous you shouldn't be pregnant and be driving," Shelly complained again.

Lucinda rolled her eyes, "I'm fine besides I was the one that drove you here remember?"

She blushed furiously, "I wasn't myself then mom."

Lucinda patted her ch
