Chapter Eighty-Seven

Lucinda stepped into the sitting room. She wondered when Shelly would get back from her friend's place. She grabbed her phone and dialed Shelly number then when she didn't pick up, she dialed her husband's number.

He picked on the second ring.

"Hello, beautiful," her husband's voice sounded in her ears. She smiled so happily.

"Hey, honey. What's the reason for your happy voice?"

"The fact that you called me," he replied. She could hear the grin from his voice.

"Awww, you're so sweet. I miss you, come back soon okay." He promised he would be back soon and she hanged up.

She massaged her temples feeling a slight headache, she dialed the staff number but remembered they were asked to go on a vacation.

Sighing softly, she stood up to get the pills her doctor recommended for her from her room.
