38. Not a public dancer

The long-haired girl had her hand placed behind Thomas’s neck, her head hiding his face from me. The terrifying thing was, he did not pull away. He stayed like that with her for a not-very-short moment. It was one of those situations when you see something awful, but you just can’t look away.

“It’s not that big of a deal,” Thomas finally broke their kiss and moved to climb on the stage. “My band is here often.”
