Wearing a red sweatshirt and blue jeans, the club owner of Cherry on top gave a warm hug to my step-sister, who was looking like a model of the latest fashion line--totally the opposite of his casual attire.
“W-what?” I stuttered. “I thought you two didn’t know each other when we met…a month ago?”
“We didn’t know each other back then,” Tina smirked at me, moving away from the guy. "People can surprise you."

As our mouths enjoyed the most intriguing game, my hand moved under his leather jacket, enjoying the warmth of his silky shirt. Both of Thomas’s palms were on my waist, as his fingers played with my long hair. It was no longer cold. My whole body was burning from our proximity and his deep kisses. After I got in my car and warmed it up, I played my new favorite song that I dared to call ours--mine and Thomas’s. I took a deep breath in and checked my new message. “I can’t stop thinking of you, charming smile. I’m sorry I didn’t write earlier, but my father got a lot of cars to repair because of the bad weather, so I decided to help him. Even now I am still at Black’s Repairing. I picked up the rest of the dishes from the table and went to leave them in the sink to buy some time for my answer. I could see with my peripheral vision how Thomas was following me with his eyes. “Well, it is a group date. I was hoping you would come, too. Tina, maybe Linda and Sam’s friends will also come. But on the next day, I will probably leave to find Annabeth,” I defended my actions. “I would like for you and I to be exclusive. I am just saying it, so it’s well known. I don’t do those ‘open relationship’ things.” Thomas sounded offended. “If you would like me to be only yours--then you should make sure everybody knows that we are together. Especially, that I know it. We are not acting like a boyfriend and girlfriend… as stupid as it may sound.” I finally gave a voice to my wishes.

The village was small and lush streets led us to the center; the shops from Annabeth’s photo present. The sun painted the buildings in yellow-orange, and even if it wasn’t hiding behind the clouds, it was pretty cold outside. Thomas and I got out of the car and walked a few meters to reach the main street.
