CHAPTER LVIII: SESSIONS

It was a peaceful week. Too peaceful, if one was going to be truly honest about it.

The two deaths that were announced in the media about a week before, which are both similar in nature to two other supposed unrelated murders, are now being investigated. Thankfully, these four victims are close friends and are all connected with at least a dozen enterprises where they have worked or invested in the past.

Due to this, the authorities have not singled out The Midnight Resort as a possible reason behind these crimes, especially since Akihiro Yamaguchi’s severed head never reached the police.

And due to the Resort’s board members not being part of the possible suspect list, they have been able to take flights out of the country to go into hiding. These affluent personalities do have their own safe houses, and some have decided to use the properties that are not publicly known and are quite a distance away,
