Karlisle tried calling the person who is giving him the threat about Steffan's safety. The phone on the other end of the line is ringing, but Karlisle was totally pissed because nobody is answering his call. It was like the person who took Steffan was making fun of him and is enjoying his agony.

The young man was already nervous and tensed. What if those people hurt Steffan? Karlisle will never forgive himself if that happens. He has to rescue Steffan as soon as possible, because as time passes, nobody knows what those people may do to Steffan. If something happens to his love, he will definitely blame himself for not being able to save him.
