When Steffan heard those words coming out of Karlisle's mouth, he doesn't know how to react. He is still totally in pain about what the two of them went through, but Steffan can never deny how much he loves Karlisle. He is his life. He is his everything. And Steffan's life will be worthless without Karlisle.
Steffan just looked at Karlisle, his eyes showing no emotion, and Karlisle felt so tensed. He wanted to know what is going on inside the mind of the guy sitting on the bed in front of him. But it is just so hard to spell Steffan’s thoughts and mood at that moment.
