Chapter Thirty Three

It was another day, she’d woken up with a little glint of hope, that maybe, just maybe, she was going to find something.

Raven figured she’d been too distracted lately, her mother was in jail, she desperately needed to find a clue, and Raven was a million percent ready. Taking a quick glimpse at her iPhone, Raven jumped out of the bed. She saw some missed calls from France, and a bunch of messages. Their first date was the best she’d ever been to, it was as though he was in her head, unlike the restaurant, the beach was calmer and intimate.

She enjoyed every second with him, wiping off the wide smile on her face, Raven took a mental note to call him later. She immediately began to brush her teeth, five minutes later, she was still brushing. It was something she never took for granted, after that, Raven washed her face next, taking a shower right after that. It was going to be an eventful day, she hoped. Running a comb through my hair, her eyes wandered about the room.
