Chapter 53: Pre-Game Plan

Chloe's POV 

I was taken aback with how lightly he threw that question around. Getting back together is a serious matter. We still have a few things we need to talk about before we get back together. 

I pulled my hand a way from him and looked him in the eyes. 

If this is some sick joke he's trying to pull off, it's not funny. 

He doesn't flinch one bit nor did he broke eye contact with me. 

"Are you serious?" I questioned. 

"Do I look like I'll joke about something like that?" He countered. 

"I am serious," he added. "I do want us to get back together." He once again reached for my hand and intertwined it with his. 

"So, what's it going to be?" 

I knew there was a possibility of us getting back together, but I didn't think the opportunity would present itself sooner.
