Chapter 7: Are you kidding me?

Chloe's POV

I ran as fast as I could the minute I got out of his car and into the house. I quickly shut the door behind with no turning back.

What did I just do? Why am I such a girl sometimes? Stupid!

I crossed the small distance from the front door and into the stairs with urgency. Right now, I want to be locked in my room; contemplating my life decisions.

"Hello darling." Confusion flashed in my Mum's face when she took my appearance in. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine." I was out of breath.

"Is that? A boy's clothes?" she inquired.

"No." I blurted.

"Whose then?"

"Andy's. I spent the night at her place." I lied. I ran a hand on my hair in a futile attempt to look a bit less disoriented.

"Cool shirt."

I ignored her remark and continued onto my way upstairs. I'm afraid she might ask other questions if I stayed in that spot for a little longer.

I went up straight to my room and changed.
