Faith looked around the bridal store. She felt like this was all a dream. Just the other day, she thought she would get murdered as those guys were holding her and Mary down, and today, she was shopping for a wedding dress. She had no idea what kind of emotion she was supposed to feel at this moment.

Earlier that day, Anthony called her into his office. She walked in feeling nervous. It was way past the 48 hours she was given by Mike, but he hadn't come by and threatened her or called her. Anthony must've paid off Mary's debt as he promised. A surge of relief and gratitude washed over her.

"I took care of everything as I promised. I gave him the money. He will never bother you or Mary ever again," Anthony said. He didn't believe it entirely and decided to hire someone to keep an eye on Mike's gang, but he wanted Faith to stop worrying.
