Jade sat in his apartment patiently as he waited for Mateo to come. Mateo knew where he was so he should know how to find him here at home.
The meeting with Duke surprisingly was too easy but why did he need to talk to Mateo? And Mateo? His wolf's name is Accius -- why did he not ask him about it?
The doorbell rang and he jumped up. Jade rushed to the door and opened it.
