Ottawa Green University:

Nisha's Point of View

Everyone was silent for a moment because of my statement. I can remember how my Dad treat me. He only sees me as a weapon. He gave me food, the best shelter, decent clothes and everything, except for a love that I was longing from a father. There are times where I asked him about my real parents but instead of giving me answers, he just hurted me. I became like this because of my parents that I have today. I know, I will never be brave if I didn't overcome those struggles and pains.

"Oh okay. So, next is me," Nathalie suddenly spoke. Tinitigan ko siya at nakikita ko sa kaniyang mga mata ang awa na pinaka-ayoko sa lahat. Ayoko yung kinaawaan ako. I'm fragile deep inside but I use my reflexes to cover the pain and broken pieces of my heart. "You already know my name. So, let's proceed to the other information about me. I'm 20 years old. My father and mother was in Japan, and they are staying there for good, since their relationship towards my grandfather isn't good. I stayed here since I have missions. You are not new about missions, right? My Dad and Mom was an expert scientist here in Ottawa, but they quit a long time ago. I have brother, but he died last year," she started. Mahaba niyang ipinaliwanag tungkol sa kaniyang sarili. By the looks of her, she's longing with her brother, but they say- let the past bygones be bygones.

I'm wondering, are they even true to their statement about themselves? I doubt it. All people can lie, so, do I. It's up to you how can you hide that secrets for so long. Don't let someone caught you with your secrets because we don't know what chaos is waiting for you. Life taught me when I'm having those struggles- If you don't know how to protect yourself, then be brave enough for you to survive for an upcoming storm in your life.

"Let's proceed to my boyfriend," Nathalie added. I was just silent and observing them. They look really calm but I don't buy their looks 'cause it's dangerous. "This is Dylan Ty Punto. 21 years old. His Family is also part of the Peur Organization. Their family is also a-

"Do you know who's the mastermind of the Peur Organization?" I asked by cutting with her introduction. I was just looking at her intently without blinking and I saw her shooked but there's hesitation in her eyes. Lie. I suddenly exclaimed to myself. I don't know who's the mastermind of that deadly Organization but I want to know if she's trustworthy, now I got the answers. She's lying, so I maybe her dorm mate but I can't trust her.

"Continue," I coldly informed her. Tumikhim siya para hindi magmukhang awkward ang sitwasyon. I mentally shooked my head. Unbelievable. She doesn't know how to hide her emotions.

"U-uhm. Okay, so their family is also a well-known in this City. His Dad ranked 5th among all scientist. He is an only child and a spoiled one," she said. Kaya pala nagmumukhang bakla kasi nag-iisang anak. Pero hindi naman siguro papatol si Nathalie kung bakla ang isang ito. I also realize that they are older than me. It seems, I'm the youngest in this group. Nakita kong tumango si Nathalie sa isang lalaki na tahimik na nakatingin sa akin. Pero mukhang lahat sila ay napatingin sa akin.

"I'm Cristopher Dejada. 20 years old. My dad is not a scientist if you think that. I'm just an ordinary person who's living in this City. I work for the Peur Organization to fund my studies here at Ottawa Green University. I'm a well-train scientist, but I still want to achieve my own dream and that is to be an Engineer. I have two siblings. 1 girl and 1 boy. At patay na ang aking ina," the guy who named Christopher stated. I stared at him carefully before nodding when I sensed that he's not lying.

"How many years have you been working for the Peur Organization?" I asked him. At nakikitaan ko ito ng pagtataka pero sinagot niya rin naman ito.

"4 years," matipid niyang sagot sa akin na ikinatango ko. Not bad.

"You know who's the mastermind of that Organization?" I asked him again and he nodded.

"Yes, but his information is too confidential," he answered. His. Well, and at least, I found out something and that mastermind is a man.

I just shrugged and turned my eyes to Rebecca who's still holding the arm of the guy who's beside me. I can feel that she's nervous maybe because of what happened earlier. Since I spill the other half of her information, telling her age will be enough.

"U-uhm. So yeah, you are right. I'm Rebecca Villafuentes. I'm 18 years old. My mother was not here and my Father is working in Peur Organization and ranked 2nd among all scientists. I have a sister, and she's also studying at this University," tugon niya. Tumingin ako sa kaniya at sa lalaking katabi ko.

"Are you in relationship as well?" I asked promptly.

"Yes/No," They answered in chorus. Rebecca says Yes and the guy answered otherwise. What do they mean for yes and no? Saglit na natahimik at tumawa naman si Nathalie pero hindi ko inalis ang paningin sa dalawa. Rebecca is a sweet girl but this guy beside me is cold-hearted, with his stoic face.

"They are not in relationship but Rebecca wants to be with him. But my cousin don't want to be with her," Nathalie immediately caught my attention because of what she said.

"Cousin?" I asked and Nathalie nodded while pointing the guy who's sitting next to me.

"He's my cousin. His name is Shawn Caylus Dwyne. He's 20 years old. Magkapatid ang aming mga ama and his father is the headmaster of this school," agad na sabi niya. Nathalie says hindi magkasundo ang parents niya at ang Lolo niya. Ibig sabihin n'on, their grandfather is the owner of this University. Pero kahit ni isa ay wala pang nakakita sa may-ari ng paaralang ito kaya nanatili siyang misteryoso sa isip ng iba maging sa akin. I want to dig in everything until all the untold secrets will be revealed. I have a lot on my mind as well as the people around me today. I know that they know everything and I am behind of it.

"Anyways, we always eat here. I am not a student anymore. I'm just helping Shawn's father. Kaya ganito ang itsura ng dorm natin. Gabi-gabi ay dito kumakain ang mga importanteng tao o na may koneksiyon sa Peur Organization-

"So, I am important and you are all connected to Peur Organization?" Pagpuputol ko sa sasabihin ni Nathalie. Did she mean to tell it everything? Am I in trap? Lahat sila ay napatingin sa akin at nakita ko ang pagtango ni Nathalie.

"Yes. For now, you need to stay away from all dangers and just trust me," she added. I smirked mentally without looking away. I raised my eyebrow at her and just nodded. I can't trust her- I can't trust them.

I was about to speak when we heard a bell ringing from outside. My forehead furrowed.

"Ano 'yon?" Tanong ko kay Nathalie na nginitian niya lang.

"Don't worry about that. Ganiyan talaga rito 'pag umaabot na ng 8 PM. Sanay na rin kami. Para kasi 'yang babala na bawal nang lumabas," Nathalie responded. She's lying but I still acted like I'm gullible and I believed at her words. Really huh? Something's wrong, but for now, I need to act that I am not curious. "By the way, I will take you to your room. Tomorrow morning, we will go for a walk and tour you around inside the University," Nathalie said. Shawn stood up first and bid goodbye.

"I'll go ahead. See you tomorrow," paalam niya sabay baling sa akin at nangunot ang aking noo dahil sa klase ng pagtitig niya. I was about to ask but he turned around and left Nathalie's room. Weird.

Tumayo na rin ako at sumunod na rin naman sila. Inakbayan ako ni Nathalie na hinayaan ko lang. Hanggang ngayon ay bumabagabag pa rin sa isipan ko ang tunog ng kampana. By the sound of it, it's creepy and there's something wrong on it. And it's also a sign to prove that this University is a big mystery.

Pagdating ko sa aking silid ay hinayaan ko lang si Nathalie na siya ang magsara ng pinto. I laid down immediately and stared at the ceiling. Everything is so mysterious- same as the people around me. They gave me enough reasons not to trust them. They gave me enough reasons to suspect anything with their actions. They gave me enough reasons to dig everything out.

I heaved deeply and closed my eyes. Images popped up in my mind. A lot of images. Bloody images. I can see the people who's clothed by blood. It's chaos. Everything was a mess. I opened my eyes without thinking twice because of what I saw.

What are those?

An idea entered my mind.

Everything about me is a lie. They're hiding something- no, my family and my dad was hiding something.
