VI: The Deal Is Sealed

"I cannot believe that happened," Javier growled, leaning against the chair's backrest which he had in front of him.

"But I got to say, it'll make the win a lot more satisfying," Marcus mumbled in reply.

"True," another voice spoke out lowly, sinisterly. The two turned to the tall, pale man whose arms were crossed and whose back was against the wall. "I will get my revenge on him." he spoke, nonchalant, though he clenched his jaw so tight it would've broken his teeth.

Marcus' brow raised automatically upon hearing that. "Are you honesty that stupid? Don't you know who he is?"

The man scoffed at that and felt a tendon of anger be pulled in him, "Does he know who I am?" He pushed himself from where he leaned. "I'M LEE DAE-HYUN!"

Marcus shot up from the seat he sat on, "AND I'M MARCUS D'FROI!" He huffed sharply. "But who the hell cares because he's Roux Dahlberg; he's long left the shadow of his father. He is no player to disregard."

Javier, who sat quietly in his chair didn't mind not getting a say in the conversation at moment because he was far too amused by the two hot-headed morons fighting right in front of him.

The smuggest of smirks rose on his lips as the two other kings stared each other down.

Thank goodness his parents weren't around at the moment, just perfect because it was his turn to host the king meeting, thus why they were hanging around in his family's wine cellar.

Their said vehicles with slashed tires were towed to a car shop by the way; Javier's family helper picked them up.

The man on his seat laughed lowly at the child-like arguement sprawled before him. "Ay, I swear, this is better than the telenovellas mama watches."

Just as the two turned to glare at Javier, the universe decided to employ justice amongst them by sending forth wrath in designer pumps.

"ANDRÉS CRISTÍANO JAVIÉR EMANUÉL ALONZO ROSARÍO!" the world quaked as a door flew open to reveal the practically literal devil in prada, the prima donna of the house, at least when Mrs. Rosario wasn't around, the Brazilian king's sister.

The being on the seat cringed at the sound and whipped his head to the fury charging at him. "WHO IN A THOUSAND HELLS DID THAT TO MY CAR!"

"YOUR CAR?" Javier shot up from where he was seated. "WE HAVE JOINT CUSTODY OF THAT JAGUAR IF YOUR OLD HEAD FORGOT, ESTRELLA."

"NOT AFTER I TELL PAPA YOU GOT THE TIRES SLASHED." the iron maiden snapped. Javier scoffed out a chuckle, spitting out in Portuguese, "Funny. You're stupid enough to think I'd slash my own tires!"

The two glared at each other and started professing profanities until a separate one of them shouted, cutting the siblings off. "I swear, you two fight like moronic children." Marcus spat, completely silencing the bickering Estrella who was intensly infatuated by him.

Javier raised a brow at that, "You're one to talk."

But hid sister was too hot headed to completely be silenced, "Who the hell did that to my car, Marcus?"

"Someone you cannot cross."

She raised a brow, "Ha. I never thought you would trade-in your king status for a fool's."

Marcus and Javier scoffed, the latter of the two ended up laughing dryly at the girl's infinite over-confidence. Estrella raised a brow and placed her hands on her hips, ready to resume another verbal assault, but just then, Dae-Hyun spoke up the name, "Roux Dahlberg."

She turned to him, "Am I supposed to be scared?"

Dae-Hyun scoffed and crossed his arms tightly, but as he was supposed to speak up, another beat him to it. Marcus barks, "Rule #1: Don't ever retaliate to Roux Dahlberg."

All three of them then raised their brows. "Are you joking?" spoke a surprised Javier. Estralla, equally surprised, pitched in, "You're making a deal regarding some stupid person who slashed my tires?"

Javier groaned, "He slashed three of Marcus' car tires, just like my car," he stressed out the my to annoy her sister, "and one on Dae-Hyun's motorbike. To top it off, insurace won't cover for it if not all four, or two in Korean-ass' case, are flat! I bet that da-"

"Of course he knew that! Which is exactly why you shouldn't go near him."

"All the more reason to kick his ass." said Dae-Hyun.

"I have made rule number one." Marcus countered. "You know what I'll do if you bite back."

Dae-Hyun chuckled deeply at the threat then clenched his jaw, "Fine. Rule #2: No one sabotages the other when they have contact with target."

"Okay, what kind of idiot deal is this?" Estrella huffed, half frustrated by the lack of knowledge and half interested for it involved car slasher. The three guys looked at her and soon enough she knit her brows deeply.

"Oh come on! There is no honor amongst people like you. Just tell me what the hell your game is this time. Is it another girl?"

Javier snarled, "This is the part where you leave."

"I swear-" Estrella attempted to fight back, but just then, Dae-Hyun cut her off, "Honestly, I'm not in the mood and I have a tight schedule so, leave before I make you."

There and then, Estrella left, defeated and fully internally vindictive. She knew unless a mortifying slip-up, this deal of theirs will never be known to her or anyone for that manner. It was their code and as barbaric as they can get, they never ever break this.

Now in silence, they completed the rest of their nine rules. Each of them sat wherever they pleased and was in deep thought over their three individual rules.

"Rule #3: The first one to spot target spends the entire day with her." Javier said.

"Bullshit." the two others called. Now it was a rule that if 2/3rds of them did not like the rule made, it could be altered, if not, however, it would remain absolute.

Javier chuckled,"What? You two should actually just go to school early."

"Even so, you have the advantage of being in her homeroom." Marcus squinted.

"Fine. Okay... Rule #3: We each get to spend one day of the week with target-- uninterupted... unless target says otherwise."

The looked at each other and the silence made the rule final.

"Rule #4: No one hurts target." said Dae-Hyun. Marcus raised his brows and Javier giggled, "My, my, my, Lee Dae-Hyun has a soft spot for our little target."

Another rule was when talking about the deal, they can never refer to them by their real name which is why they have a plethora of code names, this target's code name was still undecided.

Dae-Hyun did not retort, but instead gave his last rule, "Rule #5: No outside assets."

The two others raised a brow and shrugged in agreement.

"Rule #6: All fights inside the game and in school stay inside." Marcus stated. "Rule #7: Family stays out if this."

"Rule #8: No cutting classes." Javier smirked, knowing both barely even went to even simply homeroom. He then laughed, "And Rule #9: No one uses the zombies for anything."

And as they nodded in agreement and went off, they agreed upon the unspoken tenth rule: none of this will be spoken to anyone else, no matter what.
