XXVIII: Hidden Reasons

I didn't know where I was going, but I just ran and ran until I dumbly tripped, or as it seems, got tripped.

It hurt when my knees connected with the floor, and  my elbows and my palms, but I didn't feel like reacting to the pain.

"You should watch where you're going," a French accented voice called. The words I heard was like bile in my mouth. I gripped my hands and stood up. I see, indeed, Marcus, and hiss back, "fuck you."

For a moment, he was stunned. For a moment, I thought of jumping him too. But then I turned around and started running again, realizing I had gone to his beloved spot in halllway. Oh mercy, your majesty.

"Hé! Who did that to you?" he called as I ran off.

I scoff in my run, as if I would tell him anyway. He sounded like he was running after me, but the sound disappears eventually. Also, I couldn't care less.

My heart was beating so fast. I felt like I could just drop dead.
