That was until we all heard a sound of several gun shots. We looked and saw Dennis with a gun in his hand. His hands were not cuffed anymore and he had tackled and killed some police men. The gun in his hand was directly pointed at Makaila who seemed frozen in fear as she couldn't move. Nigel held Rita close to his body as some sort of protection. I guess I spoke to soon.
"Dennis, what are you doing?" I snapped at him. He shot the gun to the air several times and then pointed it at me which made me back down for a moment

Makaila hurriedly wore her faded blue sweat shirt over a black jeans before picking up her roller skates and made her way down the stairs hurriedly. She had slept late because she had taken a night shift at the cafe where she worked after school hours. She only had thirty minutes to get to school before first period and roller skates wouldn't even get her there in thirty five.
