I’m mad right now, I really am. What just the fudge he just did!? He made the situation even worst. Napilitan lang ako kanina na sabihin sa kanya na pag iisipan ko, para naman hindi siya ganoong mapahiya. Then he replied with cheesy lines which made the crowd go crazy.

“Ana—

“What the hell did you just did, Grey? Wala 'yon sa napag usapan natin.” I cut him off immediately. I just kept my voice calm kahit na nagagalit na ako deep inside, I badly wanna blow all my anger but I’m just controlling myself.

“It was a surprise, I prepared all of it last night—

“We both agreed to make it all clear, but you just made it more complicated. Ano nalang masasabi ng parents ko Grey? That I am letting myself easy to get by you? That I’m not even thinking of my decisions?” I can’t control myself anymore. It was truly a surprise pero hindi ako natutuwa sa surprise na yun.

“No no no, I can give you time Anastacia, I will patiently wait for it. I'm not rushing you” he said and smiled, I look at him with freaking questioning look.

“Patiently wait? Really Grey? You didn’t even consult me or even ask me if you can court me. What you said in the prescon is your asking if I’m gonna marry you? And now sasabihin mong hindi mo ako minamadali?! Gosh Grey!” napasandal ako sa upuan at napahimas sa ulo ko.

“I’m sorry…” he apologized, I look at him. He was sincere. Napailing-iling nalang ako at napa buntong hininga.

“I’m sorry if I pressured you about the proposal, but right now I’m… I’m” hindi niya matapos ang sasabihin kaya napalingon ako sa kanya.

“I’m a.. No no…” I can feel his nervousness, napataas ang kilay ko.

“Will you go out on a date with me?” he asked me and saktong nag ring ang phone ko. Nagulat ako at may halong takot ng makita ko kung sino ang caller. It was dad.

“Dad…” sabi ko ng masagot ko ang tawag. Napalingon si Grey sakin pero binalik din sa daan ang tingin.

“What was that Anastacia?” my dad’s voice was just calm, pero I know he’s disappointed.

“Um dad it was a misunderstanding…” I explained, magsasalita pa sana ako ng magsalita si dad.

“Are you with Grey?” dad asked. Napalingon ako ulit kay Grey pero naka focus siya sa daan, ngayon ko lang namalayan na nasa parking lot na kami at naghahanap lang siya ng parking space.

“Yes dad…” I answered.

“Hand him the phone.” tugon ni dad, sakto namang nakapark na kami. Napalingon si Grey sakin.

“Dad wants to talk to you.” I handed him my phone, parang natatakot pa siyang kunin pero kinuha niya parin.

“Hi Coach...um yes..i’m really sorry...yes yes I understand coach...yes yes coach...ow haha...okay tito.” I was shock when he called dad tito, lakas din ng tama ni Grey e ‘no.

“Here, so will you go out on a date with me?” he asked after he handed my phone, I saw that the call was ended.

“Pag iisipan ko.” I answered him at tumalikod pero napatigil ng magsalita nanaman siya.

“Andami mo ng iisipin niyan.” he smirked, shocks! Ba't parang naging confident siya bigla, tuhugin ko kaya siya!

“tsh.” and with that, iniwan ko na siya. And then just what I expected andaming mga students na nagkagulo buti nalang nalusutan ko with the help of my friends. Mga kakaklase ko ay nagsitahimik din ng nakapsok kaming apat. Then they are starting to gossip.

“Kayo na ba ni Grey?”

“Nakakakilig!”

“Ang swerte mo kay Grey!!!”

“Baka si Grey ang swerte kay Bonnie, hello saan ka pa maghahanap ng ganto kagandang dilag hoho.” Hanna teased, sinamaan ko siya ng tingin, nag peace sign pa ang bruha. 

I noticed Ethan beside me quietly listening to something on his phone. I can see how angry he was while watching something. I was about to look at it he immediately turned his phone off tsaka siya sumandal sa upuan niya at tinabunan ng panyo ang mukha niya.

He looks cute with it, ang cool niya tignan. Pero wala pa rin siyang manners, so bawas points 'yon.

“Grey or Ethan?” eto nanaman si Hanna. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin kaya napabaling siya kay Pia.

“Grey or Ethan?” tanong niya naman, sira talaga.

“Ah si Nate.” siya rin ag sumagot sa sariling question niya, loka-loka talaga.

“Ikaw Saf? Grey or Ethan?” walang emosyon siyang tinignan ni Saf at walang ganang tinanggal ang earphones niya.

“None of the above.” sagot niya at naman and wore her earphones again at tumingin sa kawalan. Napatawa naman ang sirang si Hanna. Parang lalaki talaga ang ugali neto.

“Ikaw? Yung nag propose o yung lalaking lagi mong pinagmamasdan?” nagulat ako sa sinabi niya kaya napatid ko siya sa paa. Napatawa lang ang sira, abnormal na ‘to.

“Manahimik ka nga” suway ko, tumawa pa rin siya. Sira na talaga.

My week turned out so rough kasi naman kung saan ako mapunta ang wa-wild ng mga tao. Kaya sa school at condo lang ako nag i-ikot, ni hindi na nga ako makapag dinner outside. Hay eto na nga ba yung sinasabi ko. 

Bukas ay weekend kaya naman I’m going home to visit my parents. Still nag-alala parin ako sa reactions ng parents ko, lalo na si dad.

When I arrived I was shock to see a familiar car sa garage namin, then I confirmed who the owner was. He got out of the house tsaka ako sinalubong.

“What are you doing here?” tanong ko kay Grey at sinara ang pinto ng kotse ko.

“Well, to meet the parents of my girl.” sagot niya, napailing-iling nalang ako at nilampasan siya.

I saw my parents at our living room kaya I greeted them both and kissed their cheeks, tumingin rin ako sa likod ko, nakasuod pala si Grey sa akin.

“I invited Grey to come over.” Dad explains when I look at them with a questioning look.

“Um okay, let’s eat.” mom said, tsaka ako inakay papunta sa dining area. She look at me apologetically and I just gave her an assuring smile that it’s fine.

They started talking about Grey, about his achievements, his life, his family and others stuffs. Syempre my dad didn’t forget about to ask what happened yesterday. I know that Grey was nervous about it, I was just looking at him waiting for him to explain it all to my parents.

“That was my proposal Coa– I mean Tito, I apologize for not asking your permission about it.” he said, 'yon lang and no more further explanations.

“Why is that you thought of proposing to my daughter like that, it’s too early and to tell you my daughter is just 18. So what really is your intention? I assumed that you don’t know each other yet, right? I’ve never introduced you to Anastacia before.” Dad said. Yeah I also think about what really his intention is, bakit ganon? We just met and a little conversation happened. Then afterwards, I was just shocked that he asked for me to marry him. That fast? Really?

“Um I know it’s really cheesy to say this...I really don’t know exactly what happened...but she just walk and talk in front of me and I had fallen inlove… I don’t know that it's really possible to happen. You’re daughter is precious as diamond...I can’t just let her be stolen from me…” That was cheesy, but my parents face was emotionless, so as mine.

Yes we’re showy and vocal to each other but that line is way too cheesy. How can you love someone just like that? For me love is a deep and rich feeling, hindi lang basta basta ganon.

“Ow, that was sweet Grey. But it’s up to Anastacia, dear?” Mom look at me, tsaka napatango ako at binalingan si Grey.

“I can’t just accept your proposal right now Grey.” I said, I saw a hint of sadness in his face.

“But we can start in getting-to-know each other, like dating.” dagdag ko at parang nabuhayan siya ng loob.

“Thank you, babe.” Grey, fast as ever. I looked at him with questioning look, even my parents we’re shock. Buti nalang hindi nabuga ni dad ang iniinom niyang tsaa kay Grey.

“I mean, Anastacia.” bawi niya, my mom awkwardly laugh. Gosh.
