"Don't lie to me. Who are you speaking with on the phone?"

If I don't ask him, I would live in agony and it would never stop ringing in my mind and heart until I die. I must ask him because he's my husband. I mean husband to be and soulmate.

"Errrrmmm.... I was speaking with Ken." He almost stammered. "We were actually talking about the hospital issues... Don't worry, Just go in. I would be right there with you in a sec."

"I doubt it" I said facing away.

"Why don't you speak with him in my presence like you use to. What are you scared of? Are you hiding something from me?" I quirked an eyebrow, searching into his blue eyes for answers. It was as if I could read everything going on in his mind.
