Now that we’ve marked the end of the story, I feel excited to announce my upcoming novel titled, “The CEO’s contract lover”.
The novel would revolve around the protagonists, Nina Santiago and Jayden Luxton, introduced in the previous chapter.
(P.S.: It’s not a sequel to ‘Trouble with the Devil’ however, you might see some characters of TWTD in the novel.)
Hope you guys would love and support the novel in the same way as you’ve been doing to TWTD.
The excerpt goes like this:
In a business meeting, Nina is drugged by her best friend and has a one-night stand with a stranger.
The next morning, under a surprising turn of events, the man she wakes up next to turns out to be the preeminent magnate, Jayden Luxton.
The man threw a contract at her, demanding. “Be my mistress or compensate me with 100 million dollars.”
“???”
Three question marks
Liam closed the door behind and walked closer, step by step, striking fear in the girl. Nora backed away, her body hitting against the icy wall. He stared at her, his deep, cello voice resounding in the room. “Nora Shahan, have you forgotten what I told you three years ago? Don’t provoke me. But time and time again you kept testing my patience.” He picked up her jaw harshly and continued. “Tell me, how should I punish you?” Nora met his eyes which was filled with a coldness making her hair stand on end. This was the real Liam, cold and heartless. She was foolish to think he had changed for better.A pang of bitterness welled up in her heart and she closed her eyes, letting the memories from the past flood into her mind.-Three years ago, Liam had warned her to never appear in front of him and Nora had been well behaved, staying as far as away from him. Whenever he’d go north, she’d go south. Even when they were in the same class, she’d stay at the opposite end. But fate played a cr
The sun shone brightly as the warm ball of light penetrated through the window. On the bed lay a girl whose body was bathed in a cold sweat. Her eyebrows were tightly knitted and her breaths trembled.

Outside the canteen was an open lawn. Often students would spend their free time there. The most distinguishing feature of this place was that there was a beautiful waterfall right in the middle.Everyone would gasp in astonishment at the clarity of the Caribbean-blue waterfall. It would swish over the rocks joyfully. It used to thunder down into the pool like a gigantic water spout. When it toppled into the ecstasy-pool, it would foam it at the bottom. Fronds of forest-green plants waved gently in the depths. The waterfall looked like a sheet of blue cloth as it swished down. Its edges were
A group of teenagers walked towards the canteen, their countenance just like models on the international runways. The students crowding around the corridors immediately made way when they saw who it was. Among them was Jackson, who had a devilish grin on his face, making the girls swoon over him. The guy next to him, Rk, had his headphones on and was of a relativ

Nora's POV I stepped out of the library gloomily. The incident earlier really gave me a fright. While walking down the stairs, I came across a few boys huddled on the staircase. Initially, I was going to ignore them and make my way out, but as soon as the word ‘racing’ left their mouths, I stopped in my tracks and listened to them intently. A car racing event was going to be held tonight at Mt. Akimbo, the tallest mountain in Kingstown. The boys were basically lamenting over how they couldn’t join the event, even if they wanted to because of their terrible driving skills. After I took in the information, I half jogged down the stairs and rushed home. I was 16 when I was introduced to the racing world by my cousin when we were vacationing in Tokyo. I remember us creating fake ids and sneaking inside the event as it was illegal for underage people to driv
