“Queen Callisto, you have to leave!” Ruby, my trusted maid informed me of the impending danger in the wee mornings of the day.
“What is wrong?” I asked as she gathered a few of my things together.
“King Arthur knows about your pregnancy and he wants to terminate your child’s existence.” Ruby explained as she picked some warm clothes for me to change and a long hood.
“What about my children?!” I asked in panic.
“I tried to get them but his majesty seems to have predicted that you will take them and has their room heavily guarded. He is on his way to find you and I don’t know how long your loyal subjects can stall him.” Ruby explained as she handed me the clothes.
