Chapter 3

"How was the concert in Austria?"

Mr. Andrew, one of his former mentors when he was still studying at the academy smiled at Gamma who had just come to visit. Gamma was his most brilliant student. This man carried the genius of playing the violin between his fingers. A naturally gifted violinist who is matched by a high level of technique.

Being Mr. Andrew's best friend, Gamma's parents brought him to the mentor, originally the man had absolutely no idea. Who came to him was a thin and beautiful boy—Mr. Andrew initially thought he was a girl—around six or seven years old, hugging a dark red violin that seemed too big for a kid his age.

However, when the little boy played his violin, Mr. Andrew was stunned. He knew right away that this little boy could be called a 'prodigy' in his violin playing. Such a small child, with an oversized violin, but playing the violin not only with perfect technique, but the way to play is charming. There is no second to none, especially for such a small child!

Without thinking Mr. Andrew immediately volunteered to guide Gamma specifically. He is a composer, former violinist and music teacher at the Academy, he has many acquaintances with the best people in the world of classical music. So, Gamma also entered this academy, into special guidance classes, in certain sessions, to develop his talents. Gamma was sent to famous music schools in various countries and that made him even more famous.

When he graduated, Gamma spent more and more days abroad, attending concerts with various famous orchestras and also doing solo concerts. The man was very successful at music and of course it was because of his genius violin playing.

Everything seems reasonable and appropriate when it turns out that Gamma is the biological son of another genius violinist, once so famous but just disappeared without a trace, a big loss in the music world. The man apparently passed on his talent to this eldest son.

"As usual, tiring." Gamma leaned back on the sofa and smiled faintly. "Can I use my usual room to practice?"

Mr. Andrew already considers Gamma like his own son and he is one of the special people in this academy. There was a special room at the left wing of the academy that was hidden and closed that Gamma always used to train in secret. Of course, that room was always there for Gamma even though it had been a long time since Gamma had used it because of his overseas trip. Now that it seemed like Gamma had chosen to take a break from his tiring concerts for a while, that guy would definitely reuse the room a lot.

"You can go there any time, Gamma."

Gamma put down his tea, and nodded his head. "I'll be there, thank you, sir."

Gamma walked silently. Through the hallway in the largest music academy's lonely wing and let out a long sigh.

Quiet.

The loneliness cut deep into his soul. Yeah. He's lonely. Sometimes he longs for a warm body to cuddle with, a woman who isn't evil, a woman who doesn't just love the outside … a woman unlike his mother, but do such women exist? Gamma smiled bitterly. Even if there were, the women weren't his match, because until now Gamma had never found her.

He arrived at his special practice room. A large room, with glass windows on all sides, reflecting the dim sunlight, because around the outside of the room are lush and very large trees.

Gamma stood in the center of the room and then opened the violin holder. He sighed and closed his eyes, then played his violin, in a tone that suddenly crossed his mind.
