50: When the day comes

I open my eyes at the first sun ray that cast on my face. My hands come up to cover my face and I struggle to get up. My whole body is tired as well as my mind. I've spent two weeks in the hospital straight, not agreeing to leave  Jay's side. Last night, Elle persuaded me to go home because she'll stay. She said I need to get my shit together.

She's right. I look like hell. Last week, we moved Jay back to Miami in my private jet. Her parents have been saying here at the house with me. Joseph come from time to time but I think it's only because he wants to see Elle. I hate that shit that is going on.

Most of all, I'm glad Rose is still here through all these. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without her.

My arms cross over my bare chest as I seat up, relaxing my back against the headboard. I need a relief. There was an aspirin by the corner so I took it quickly.
