“Huh? Who?” I blink at him as I tried to pretend to glance around as if I was looking for someone he was referring to. What if Anubis saw Kurai just now? And why would Kurai just be gone when he can pretend to be someone else? Maybe there is no time? But at the same time, I feel relieved.
“I just heard you are talking with someone?” his eyes fell on my bento. “Your bento. Looks amazing. Did someone come to deliver you your lunch?”
Wow. He didn’t ask me if I’m the one who made it or if I brought this lunch. He probably heard us.
“Ah, yes. Maybe that’s the one you’ve heard.” I chuckled awkwardly as my eyes fell back on my food.
