I wake up with a throbbing headache. Ugh why did I drink so much. Wait, I didn’t drink enough to have a hangover. I rub the back of my head and my eyes jolt open as I remember what happened after leaving Logan’s. I bring my hand back in front of me and it’s covered in dried blood. Chapter 27 We head to the meeting spot and Shane takes my hand in his, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. It feels like the walk to the border takes hours when in reality it maybe takes a few minutes.
