The royal musicians are blowing trumpets, welcoming the arrival of their highness, Alphonso Raphbarg. Horses march the border of the kingdom with the troops that participated in the war. People are gathering, chattering 'the prince is back' to each other with an ear-to-ear smile.

"LONG LIVE YOUNG HIGHNESS! LONG LIVE YOUNG HIGHNESS ALPHONSO!" Cheers citizens of the kingdom as they shout in glee.

Who would have thought a twenty years old alpha prince could lead the troops of the kingdom with wisdom and might to win the war against their kingdom enemy.

The king could not participate in the war because of his sickness. He feels sorry for his people, but Prince Alphonso bravely enlists himself to join the battle, which causes the king to worry for his son. Despite the thought of being away from the kingdom. His son shows no fear nor freat in the fight.

The warriors and knights halt their horses at the kingdom's wide field, facing the main entrance of the king's office.

"Prince Alphonso, welcome back home! We are happy to see you safe and win the war for us, your people. Thank you," says Minister Kingsley, happily. He is a member of the king's council. He smiles in pride at the prince.

Alphonso reciprocates Kingsley's smile with a smirk, "You do not have to be so formal to me. You are like a father to me, Minister Kingsley. Thank you."

Kingsley offers a hand to the prince, hoping the prince would accept the helping hand to dismount from the horse. Nevertheless, the prince chooses to get off from the horse on his own. He shrugs himself and corrects his posture in a split second.

"Sorry, Minister Kingsley, I rather not touch you in this bloody hands of mine. My knights, warriors need some bath." Prince Alphonso tells him bluntly, which causes the minister to wrap his hands together, looking upset.

"Silly, child," Kinsley could not help but to break a chuckle, commenting at the prince's behavior to him. He looks at the prince walks at the center aisle.

The clap, whistle, and cheers for the prince make the nation sings in unity. That pleases the ears of the majority.

'Finally, I can have a proper sleep in my bed.' Alphonso talks in his mind.

"SON! WELCOME BACK!!! YOU MAKE ME SO PROUD I COULD DIE!" The king shouts as he sprints to his son with a runny nose. It makes Alphonso snicker at his father for acting like a child.

King Hedery opens his arms widely to hug his son, but with Alphonso's mobility, he dodges his father's attempt. Then, laugh it all out. "How could you do that to your father. Did you not miss me, Son?" The king pouts, whining because of the rejection he receives from his son.

"Father can you-." The prince couldn't finish his sentence.

"PRAISE THE ROYAL HIGHNESS! LONG LIVE OUR KING!" The loud greetings of the nation interrupt the prince and the king.

King Hedery waves at his people with his signature big bright smile that etched in the hearts and minds of everyone.

On the other hand, Alphonso examines the faces of the people. It sends chills to his spine as he wonders, 'Can I make my people laugh and smile comfortably with a stern face in my term?'

Alphonso knows the people adore the lively and cheerful personality of the king that he did not inherit.

Unaware of the other's opinions, people love the prince for who he is, especially among ladies who crave storm-like eyes, small sculpted handsome face with thick eyelashes and brows.

Not to mention his title, achievements, and eight-pack abs. He would surely make any women ravish him.

"MY BELOVED PEOPLE, MY SON, ALPHONSO, BROUGHT A VICTORY AGAINST OUR ENEMY NATION. THANK YOU FOR WELCOMING MY SON. WE, THE ROYALS, WILL DO EVERYTHING FOR THE PEACE AND PROSPERITY IN OUR COUNTRY." The kings declare to his people, loud and clear.

"PRAISE THE ROYALS! LONG LIVE TO THE HIGHNESS!" The citizens immediately respond with the utmost respect to their king.

"Now, your turn, Son." King Hedery pats Alphonso's shoulder.

"Father, may I go inside?" Alphonso whispers to his father, which causes the king to flinch in surprise to say, "why do you have to be a kill the fun type of person. That's boring, Son!"

In return, Alphonso rolls his eyes to his father and marches to the palace in a hurry without care.

However, the young man is like a lost sheep on his way somewhere. He puts his hand on his forehead as he forgets the way to his room.

A maid who is busy sweeping the white floor notices the prince, looking troubled on himself. So she decides to approach the prince.

"Your highness, I am glad to see you. Welcome back home. You seem to be in trouble. Are you perhaps looking for Princess Corine?" The soft voice of the maid makes Alphonso sigh in relief.

Alphonso stiffs and finds dumbfounded as he did not even think of his sister today. He knows she will be angry if she knows it.

He forces a loud gulp in nervousness in front of the maid. Then, he vigorously nods at her.

"I'll lead you the way." The maid smiles warmly at him as she speaks.

They walk to the familiar pathway, silently. The prince rubs his hand together, praying not to upset his sister.

The maid stops her pace, and she bows to the prince as she finished leading the way for him. She walks away right after.

Curiosity runs to the prince's mind and decides to scan the place on guard, but is caught off guard by the colorful flowers that seize his attention. It's been a while since he glimpses beautiful, healthy flowers.

He takes a step further to explore the palace garden.

The touch of the wind on his skin gives a warm feeling in his heart. His eyes land on the woman with a cup of tea on the table, reading a book.

Then, the woman shuts her book and sees the man facing her.

"Son, Come here... Let mother hug you..." The woman calls for him, looking at him with a weak smile, extending her thin arms to him.

"Brother?"

"Brother? Is that you?"

Alphonso snaps back in reality and sees his sister in a state of shock. "It is I, Corine," Alphonso confirms with a soft tone that brings his sister to tears.

In her eyes, she observes changes in him. Alphonso looks taller than before. His voice becomes deep like a forty Hz sound of a radio. He fully fledges in his royal uniform.

Corine stands on her chair to dash to her brother, hugging him, "Brother! I miss you! You dummy!"

"I miss you too, I miss... Mom and everyone." He mumbles under his breath, feeling lonely in his heart while caressing his sister's back in comforting her.

Corine breaks the hug and pinches her brother's cheeks that makes Alphonso groans in pain. "What was that for, Corine?"

"That is for being overconfident in joining the battle. You left me with worries. You cocky bastard! How could you! What will I do to you if you die?" Corine rants in furry. Her eyebrows meet in the middle as she frowns.

"Correction, what will you do to yourself if I die." Alphonso points it out to his sister that makes Corine irritated.

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT!" Corine exclaims.

"C'mon loose up," The prince pulls his sister for a hug, and then he whispers sadly, "I see mom in you, Corine. I thought of her while watching you reading a book. The more you get older, the more you remind me of her. I miss her a lot. I guess she is happy with the Moon Goddess."

"I miss her a lot too, brother. I love her as I love you. That is why I can't get a grip to lose you, brother." Corine says while looking at her brother's eyes.

They pull away from the hug as they look at each other lovingly.

"By the way, you smell stinky, Brother. Your mate will be disappointed if she smells rotten meat in you." Corine pokes fun of her brother's scent covering her nose, giggling.

"What? ME? STINKY?" Alphonso smells his armpits, getting conscious. He did smell the odor from his body that makes him blush in discomfort.

Corine laughs and cracks to say, "Pfft...Seriously, brother. You don't have to smell yourself. What do I mean about your mate? Is that your birthday is coming up soon. Aren't you excited? I sometimes wonder, what will my mate look like?"

To his surprise, he drops his jaw widely. "Fuck! MATE? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, CORINE?

Corine feels second-hand embarrassment while giving herself a face-palm. She stares at her brother funnily, as if he is the most stupid man in the world.

Then, it dawned on him. Alpha, Omega, Mates, Moon Goddess, Luna. It was like he utterly had his knowledge about this hidden at some part of his mind that suddenly flows to him overwhelmingly.

He believes that Omegas and Alphas are made for each other as they satisfy one another needs. But Alphonso is sensitive to the other's opinion of calling Omegas weak because no one is born weakling. They are powerful as they give fruit to their Alphas like his mother.

"I'll be needing to pray in the convent of Our Lady Goddess to bless me with my mate." He anxiously informs himself in a whisper tone that only the breeze could hear him.

"What are rambling, Brother?" Corine looks at him confusedly. Her gut is telling her that her brother is overthinking.

Alphonso unexpectedly whack, "HOLY CRAP! I'll be meeting my Mate, our Luna, in a few weeks!"
