Chapter 7

The whole trip, I was just quiet. I was alone in the back while Gael was sitting in the front with the driver. I was still stunned by what was happening because it was so fast that it seemed like I just closed my eyes for a moment and when I opened it I was gone. Wala na ang pamilya ko at tuluyan na akong mag-iisa sa mundo. 

I am an independent person, I can afford to live but that does not mean that I am no longer weak. People think of me as a strong woman. I do not just give up but I am also crushed. Minsan nga lang ako tinatamaan pero sobrang sakit tuwing dinadalaw ako ng kalungkutan.

"Bakit pa ba kasi nagpunta kayong dalawa roon?" Gael's Mom asked us as we sat on the sofa side by side. 

Dito kami hinatid ng driver kasi iyon ang iniutos ni Gael. Ayaw niyang dumeretso ako sa condo ko kasi hindi makabubuti sa akin ang mag-isa lalo na sa sitwasyon ko ngayon kaya alam na rin ni Tita ang mga nangyari dahil sinabi ng driver.<
