Chapter 9

Gael and I have been hanging out here in the cafeteria for a few hours. I was so irritated by the rumors of some students around me about the issue that I am a daughter of Mastermind or let just called my father was a Drug Lord when they heard about my father's death. 

Kanina pa ako pinipilit ni Gael na umalis na kami rito pero tinatanggihan ko siya. I prefer as much as I can now hear the hurtful words for me. I want this day to be one of the most painful I feel even when I am discouraged.

"Erizz..." Gael called my attention.

"Hmm?" She took my hand as her eyes stared at me worriedly.

"Balak mo pa rin bang sumali sa kompitesiyon? Baka pwedeng... mag-lie-low ka muna, alam ko naman kasing pinanghihinaan kana ng loob dahil sa mga nangyayari." Umiling ako.

"I'm fine, Gael. Hindi ako aatras sa kompitesiyon, kailangan na kailangan ko iyon lalo na't paubos na ang pera ko. I don't have a financer anymo
