CHAPTER ELEVEN

"Am I nursing a kid here?" Cass sighs. "Seriously, dad? You won't die after drinking this. Even Sebastian checked this."

"No," Clyde insists. "I won't drink that."

Cass is holding a test tube with pale blue liquid inside. It doesn't look deadly, it's like juice in a test tube.

"I told you, dad. You won't die drinking this. Can you not be stubborn and just do what we ask you to? Please?"

"I'm fine," Clyde insists again.

"Dad, you're becoming like humans, saying they are fine when they are not. Trust me, when they say they are fine, they are lying a hundred percent and others will blindly believe that simple lie. So drink up before I ask Sebas to help me shove this to you."

"Why should I drink that? Where did you obtain that?" Clyde asks too many questions, which isn't like him to Cass' eyes. "And when did you take interest in making medicine?"
