PREFACE

Air was feeling fresher. Suddenly, a strange scent tickled his nostrils. He pulled over his car and looked at the mansion. He had passed through it thousands of times, but never felt this strange before. That place always seemed quiet to him and dark whenever he passed through this way. He pulled over and got off of his car. He stared at the mansion, his eyes were as amber as the burning sun. He could feel her, she was around.

                      Mine!

He took firm steps toward the huge iron gate, careful not to make any mistake. He stopped abruptly as his eyes fell on the camera. He couldn't permit it to capture him. He took a measuring step back. He launched himself at the twelve feet high wall of the mansion, and with a jump, he landed on the other side of the house smoothly, on his feet, fingers spread on the grass ground. He looked at the dark door with a victory wry grin.

He didn't want any camera to capture him. He raked his predator amber eyes around. In a blink, he was standing in front of an electric board he was looking for. He extended his muscular arm and switched it off. The entire mansion was out of power now. He entered the house without making any sound.

He smelled her scent. And followed it. His eyes were inches from her soft full pink lips, her hair was in a messy bun, which was at the brink of losing its knot, and ready to get free. Her face was glowing, " Mesmerizing, " He whispered under breath.

It was hard to do something else when she was around. He slid out his hand from his jeans pocket with his iPhone. He clicked the picture of her.

Her mere glimpse gave him the most peculiar sensation, a strange kind of happiness. Her scent was driving him crazy. He wanted to break all the boundaries between them and claimed her.

He inclined his head to inhale her. He wanted to run his fingers in her smooth hair. But he stopped still, When she stirred a bit, he was half expecting her to wake up and caged her arms around him.

He looked closely at her face, her cheeks were parched, he sensed it. Nothing could scare him, but the chime of the phone suddenly startled him. He hid behind the curtains.

' I can't let her see me, not like this. She would never comprehend the truth behind this attraction and action.'

A cold chill spread through his body. He was called the most powerful, lethal weapon. A mere girl had the power to distract him. He should have been careful as she was going to live here. He couldn't ignore what was his, " You'll be mine, soon. It's your right the day you are born. ' he whispered and left her alone, thinking over it.

        ' She's raised as a human. F**k! She's human. She won't fall for a beast. '
