Chapter 532

Mandy quickly turned around as if she was guilty, blurting out, “Nothing! Nothing at all!”

She blocked the door, while she glanced at the chairman from the corner of her eye until his shadow had disappeared down the corridor. It was strange; she thought his stretched shadow under the dim light seemed a little lonely.

Monique looked at her suspiciously and blinked. She had a feeling Mandy looked nervous, but she did not ask her why. Was it not a normal question to ask if she needed any help!

Mandy noticed that appeared a little inappropriate too. She raised her hands that were carrying bags of food. “I’m bringing these in. They’re a little heavy. Could you help me close the door?”

She nodded with a faint smile.

Mandy quickly carried the bags to the table, her hands extremely tired. He bought too much food; even if there were five Moniques there, they might not even be able to finish it all.

Monique curiously stuck her head out of the door and looked around the corridor. It was em
