CHAPTER TWO ‘Tomorrow’ EDITED

OLA

I stared at my tv in shock. My ex-boyfriend, Philip Folorunsho was getting married to a popular reporter of BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)

I felt hurt, we broke up three months ago and now he's getting married? What the hell! I know he cheated on me severally but I didn't expect him to move on so quickly.

I turned off the tv and went to the cabinet where we stored drinks. I grab a bottle of vodka and drank from it directly ignoring the burn on my throat.

I felt tears streamed down my face.

"I hate you Philip Folorunsho" I spat. He'd taken advantage of the love I had for him, he used me gain popularity and make more money and I hated him for that.

Realizing that I couldn't keep doing this to myself when Phillip didn't give a damn about me. I remembered Sade Johnson and what she wanted me to do for her.

Break her son's relationship.

I quickly place the vodka where I saw it.

I grab my phone which was laying on the counter and grab my purse, in search for her business card.

I smile when I found it and quickly dialed her number. After two rings she picked up.

"Hello? Sade Johnson on the line. How may I help you" I hear her speak.

"This is Ola Smith. I want you to send me details about your son and his fiancee to know how I can get into their lives" I said before ending the call.

I would've done my own research but Sade would know her son better than the internet and give me information the internet may never know.

"Ola dinner is ready!" I hear Kemi, our house keeper called for me.

"Okay Kemi. I'll be right there!" I yelled back before checking my phone to see if I had any text. I did. And it was from Mom informing me she would be home late.

I head to the dinning room and sighed when the aroma of chicken and vegetables hit me. There was white rice too.

Kemi already sat down ready to eat. We let her sit with us in the dinning table, she was like our family.

I sit in front of her and put some rice on my plate along with vegetables and the chicken breast.

I drank some water first before eating the food which was delicious by the way.

"How's your mom doing?" Kemi asked her mouth full of chicken.

"She's okay" I say before asking for her family's welfare "How's your grandson, John doing?"

She smiled when I mentioned John which shows that he was well.

"He'll turn 5 next week. I must admit he's growing really fast" she said "And to answer your question, he's doing well thanks to you and your mom" she added quickly.

"It's nothing. You're part of our family now and it's our duty to take care of you and everyone close to you" I said finishing the last piece of the chicken in my plate.

"I'm really grateful" she said with a smile on her face.

I drank some water and said "I'll be retiring to my room now to get some rest. You should too as mom said she'll be a little late today" with that I retreated to my room.

I checked my phone and saw that Sade had send info on her son whose name I remember was Daniel Johnson and his fiancee Lola Ogunnupebi.

I checked it and quickly transfer it to my laptop.

It reads:

Daniel likes going to 'The pineapple beach' right after Suzy's pizza place. No. 24, Villa's street. He's attracted to vulnerable girls.

I scoffed when I read the last part. Why would he be attracted to weak girls? I smirked when I idea formed into my head.

Ola, you're a genius.

Lola Ogunnupebi, she's the daughter of your competition Samuel Ogunnupebi, owner of Xiva establishment.

I gasped and covered my mouth in shock. Samuel Ogunnupebi was my father and Lola was his daughter which means;

We're half sisters.

How did I not notice that their surnames were the same?!

I stood up from my bed somewhat feeling terrible. Lola was innocent even though our father wasn't. It's not her fault he decided to be a jerk to my mom and I.

I couldn't do this to her.

I searched for her name on G****e and it popped out. She sure was popular.

I checked her pictures and saw that we looked somewhat similar.

Just that her black hair were shorter than mine, she looked slimmer and taller than me and she was dark brown in complexion while I was light skinned, thanks to my mom.

I then read the most recent articles about her.

Lola Ogunnupebi and her fiance spotted making out in a beach

There were pictures of the both of them hugging and kissing.

Feeling disgusted I closed the site and went back to the message from Sade.

Lola is a bitch and she can be very aggressive, be careful of her. Good luck.

Sade's message wasn't very useful but at least she told me where I could find Daniel.

My mind drifted back to Lola. Could I hurt her because of twenty five million?

"Yes, after all she, her brother and mother are the reason Dad abandoned you" my subconscious said.

Feeling exhausted I turned off my laptop and went to sleep. I would decide what to do tommorow.
