30. Lunch With The Parents
We were about to go to his parents when there was a buzz at the front door.
Brenton opened it, and there was a package with my name on it. Brenton looked at me and told me to stay inside. While he walked out and talked to the delivery guy.
I was pacing back and forth waiting for him, and when he finally came back, he just told me that it was all being taken care of. But I could tell he looked slightly off.
"Brenton, what's in it?"
"It's all good baby I already send it to my lawyer and he will take care of it. Now let's go to my parents." But he pulled me in his embrace long enough, like he was making sure, I was still there and not going anywhere.
