Chapter Twenty-Eight

He drew me into his room as I was about to enter the guest room. "You can't stay in my room, Angel," he said to me as he dragged me inside. He slammed the door shut, not allowing her to say anything. Then he turned to face me.

I turned away from him and went to bed. I ignored him, but he simply sighed and walked to his table near the window, where he began typing. I sighed and fell asleep. I was simply exhausted after being entertained by ninja turtles.

From now on, I'll refer to Keegan, Ynigo, Gio, and Link as Ninja Turtles.

I was surprised to see five of them at the dinner table the next day. "Oh, don't you have houses?" I wondered aloud.

There was a heaviness in the air that pervaded the entire dining room. When we heard a voice, they all grunted. It was so piercing that even I frowned.
