CHAPTER SEVEN

"Vic? Don't touch her, you motherfuckers, leave her alone. Keep your filthy hands away from her "I was yelling. Vic was knocked out.

"Now, now, now... What are you going to do, sign the papers or lose your friend?"

"Just leave her alone, I'll do whatever you say," were the only words that came out of my mouth.

"Take her back to her apartment and don't tell her anything about today; pretend like nothing happened," he told his men as he led Vic away unconscious.

"Now listen to me, and listen very carefully, Jennifer Oxford; you're going to do what I'm telling you to do, or you're going to lose the one and only thing you hold dear to your heart."

With that, he handed the papers over to me for the final review, but time was running out and I didn't want him around, so I asked for a pen.
