Drunk

"What can I get you both, beautiful ladies?" he asked politely with a smile as he threw the white cloth he held over his shoulder in a dramatic way. A strand of black mixed with blonde hair had fallen onto his face at the same time.

"Two glasses of red wine and two shots of tequila," Elena smirked as she ordered and winked her eyes in the direction of the bartender.

The bartender laughed and nodded his head in agreement as he said, "Coming up right now."

"In all honesty, all I'd like is a glass of water, thank you," I started to speak, but Elena cut me off by placing her hand on my mouth and heaving an audible sigh.

"Ignore her," she said with a smile to the bartender before turning her glare on me, "Loosen up a little! You won't be drunk if you just have one shot and a glass of wine, girl "She said with a sly grin on her face and a wink.

I looked at her with a frown and told her in all candor that I didn't particularly enjoy alcohol and that it also didn't go well with my body.
