Paige walked out and looked between the two men standing there. Milo was looking at his father, and she knew he had so many questions to ask. She went to her area and took a seat as she let them talk. As the two left the hallway to go into the office, they left the door open. They knew that she would stop anyone from coming in, and they could discuss whatever with the knowledge she would keep their secrets. She was after all a part of this.
“I have one question,” Milo asked the old man as he sat down on the couch, and Milo went to one of the chairs near it. Milo didn’t really know how to handle this conversation. It wasn’t something he was ever going to ask in the first place. Now everything was hinged on the answer his father would give.
“And that is?” the old man asked as he raised his eyebrow.

Paige had put off the things she needed to do. She knew that everything was going to be fine the next day but she had to do her laundry.
