CHAPTER-45. GOODBYE!
BROOKLYN MONTANO stirred pregnant milk for his wife who is currently enjoying a program on one of the global television stations. Since pregnancy, Kayla has spent more time in bed enjoying television shows. Brook forbade him to work for Christian companies. In exchange, Brook sent trusted people to help Christian manage his business. Coming home from Colmar, Brook was indeed much quieter. Neither Kayla nor Jullian knew that he had shot his sister.
Feelings still raging, Brooklyn took the warm milk to bed and gave it to Kayla. "Drink while warm." Brook said to his wife.
"Thank you." Kayla replied as she received the milk and drank it until it was gone.
Kayla rubbed the remaining milk at the corner of her lips with her index finger. When he was about to go to return the empty glass to the kitchen, Brook held it and took the glass. "Let me." Brook said softly.
"Thank you, Magic bear."
