“Eliza, there is actually an emergency that I need to inform you about…” he said with a concerning voice.
“What is it, dad? Everything alright?” She asked with her eyebrows narrowed at the strange news that her dad was referring to.
“Actually, I went in for my routine check up with my doctor and during the examination, he told me that due to my old age, carrying out my duties at Harper Corp would not be the best for my health. I tried to convince him to allow me to continue my duties but he is reluctant to do so.”
“So I was wondering if you could come back and take charge of Harper Corp for me?” He asked her as straightforward as he could. It was too much of him to ask but he would not have brought it up if it were not so important either.
