Chap-50*The Lost Grandpa*

After the whole incident happened with Dallin not being able to recall her mother, Faith took it upon herself to go ask her grandpa, who she had not seen in days. He was mostly assigned to be on the top floor of the house and avoiding Faith at any cost in order to not raise more suspicions on his intentions.

Although Dallin didn’t ask him to restrict himself to the room, Howard didn’t feel like going out anymore. He had yet to come out of the trauma Mallory’s betrayal had caused him. She looked so perfect for their family, he wondered what happened. Were those her motives since the beginning? If so, then how come he didn’t notice that before? Was he that bad of a judge of anyone’s character?

A knock on the door reminded Howard that he was not alone. Before he could move to open the door, a gentle whisper grabbed his attention.

“Grandpa?” Faith had her ear plastered against the door, trying to hear her grandpa’s voice.
