“Awake,” Ethan replied, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I didn’t know how long he had been at the infirmary, but he wasn’t back by the time Lo and I had returned to the pack house. Even if he had tried to reach out, I was fast asleep.
“And breathing on her own,” he added.
“That’s great. Anything more?”
“Jennivah said she likely won’t remember anything in the hours leading up to it.”
I looked at him. “Are you saying--”
