“If by ‘rock’ you mean ‘kick your ass,’ then yes, absolutely.” Ethan couldn’t keep the grin off his face and neither could I. It was such a buzz to have him here. He had missed the morning session. I knew he had been on a date with Lo, but Seth had given him a pass.
“Remember to take it easy, ok?” Seth had said over his clipboard, eyeing the two of us.
We began a slow jog on the treadmill. The easy pace allowed us to chat, while giving Ethan an easy excuse to test his endurance and take it slow.
