Chapter 16

Raymond slowly left the Umberbridge mansion. His whole body trembled from the flashbacks of his memories he still could not bear. Being beside Amanda reminded him of Arnold because their similar faces and gestures made his PTSD symptoms getting worse. He knew that sooner or later, his symptoms would only get worse if he did not continue his treatment. The psychiatrist who treated him in the past also warned him of the risks he would face if he stopped his treatment sessions in the middle. But, did he have any choice now, after he knew that his friend's younger sister was in danger? He was not in the position to decide. At least, he considered what he was doing now as part of his effort to make amends for the mistakes he had  made. His chest ached until he hit his chest several times to suppress his pain.
