The following day, after the endless search of a job, I finally secured one at a bookshop. Although, the payment was very little, but it was worth putting food on the table so I accepted it. I had trekked till my foot hurt and I was sweating profusely, with big fat patchy designs of perspiration on my under arms. At a point, the pain in my chest grew worst and the knots in my stomach tightened like I was having period cramps. I increased my pace.
