Chapter Thirty Four: Orange skies

As planned, Lyanna made quite a ruckus as I successfully copied the librarian's fingerprint. I actually had it quite a while but I needed distraction as I killed the librarian for good. That damn gorgon's too quick-witted and I know she's been planning on burning the book but she feels guilty because she knows that the book is the only way to save JD.
Without Lyanna creating a ruckus, I couldn't kill her. Lyanna's been too concious of her and the idea of the librarian suddenly dying won't sit right with her trust issues.
I know how that gorgon fancied JD. I just needed to finish JD off. The gorgon can't destroy the book and Lyanna will obtain it.
It's a win win situation for me.
