Damien’s P.O.V.
Synestra had been missing for almost a week and I was no closer to finding out where that asshole angel had taken her. I knew there was only one way to find her and that she would hate me for it if she ever found out. I had to go talk to her mother. I had to remove the magic my father had used on her so she would know everything that had been going on.
I let myself into their home, knowing Lailah wouldn't be home just yet. Her typical shift at the hospital had just ended and from what I knew of her she would be home in about fifteen minutes. I made myself comfortable on the couch after helping myself to a glass of sweet tea.

Synestra’s P.O.V.I wrapped the robe around myself as Gabe went to the door. My heart was beating out of my chest. I looked around frantically trying to come up with an exit plan. Damien’s P.O.V.I looked around at the hundreds of dead angels littering the floor around me. I was covered in blood.. My blood soaked shirt clung to my heaving chest. The metallic taste of blood sat heavy in my mouth. Their white wings had been stained red. Blood was dripping down the walls and off the ceiling. I stepped over the bodies on my way out of the building. I took in the sights around, savoring the scent of blood in the air and the squishing sound with every step I took. I smiled, admiring the scene in front of me. It was official, the old me was back and it felt so good.None of the angels at Halo had given me information that I could use. I had to find someone that would be able to give me more information about Gabe. I decided to go back to Seraphine, hoping that she may have some more information.

Synestra’s P.O.V.After Ramiel’s visit and the revelation that not only was Gabe an angel, but so were my mother, my possible father and myself I had confined myself in the bedroom for two days. Gabe had been respectful of my wishes for space and had been sleeping on the couch in the living room. I was angry. I was angry that I had been lied to my whole life. I was angry that both Damien and Gabe had known the truth about what I was and chose to keep it from me. Most of all though, I was angry at myself for falling in love with both of these men and not realizing they were only using me to gain an advantage for their respective sides.I stood in front of the mirror and ran my fingers over the marks on my neck. Both Damien and Gabe had marked me, claiming me as their own. If I was being honest with myself I was in love with both of them.

Synestra’s P.O.V.A splitting headache was throbbing in my skull. I was sure I was going to lose consciousness when I noticed a blinding white light. When my vision cleared I was looking at the face of a very imposing man with huge white wings. I am not sure how I knew but I instantly knew I was looking into the eyes of the archangel Michael.Michael was a very large man well over six foot tall. He had broad shoulders and large muscular forearms. His hair shined like pure gold in the sunlight, his eyes were such a dark shade of brown they appeared to be almost black. The mere presence of him sent electrical shocks pulsing through my body that took me several seconds to realize were actually fear. I had spent two weeks living with Lucifer without ever truly feeling afraid. This man, however, had me trembling with fear.

Azazel’s P.O.V.After I had dropped off Synestra at her mother’s house I realized I was hungry again. I guess all that fighting really works up an appetite.
