Chapter 37

Synestra’s P.O.V.

I took Damien by the hand and he snapped his fingers, in an instant we were surrounded by swirling black smoke. When the smoke dissipated we were back in Dallas. He had taken us to Albert and Aly's house. He must have sensed my need to check on my friend. I was feeling a little dizzy from the trip. I silently promised myself that I would have to practice travelling this way. 

I rushed into the house and ran straight to Aly’s room. Albert came following me into the room. 

“What are you doing, Syn? What happened to you? You were sitting here yesterday and then all of a sudden you were gone, where did you go?” Albert asked.

“Have you seen Aly?” I asked, frantically.
