Chapter 38: Sky - Visions from the past
I looked toward the stage, Jax stood there in all his demon glory. It was a terrifying view, but the sorrow and sincerity that radiated from Jax made him less scary.
Several memories entered my head and showed me Katie’s and Jax's journey together.
Jax was walking in a field. A girl in her late teens came into view. She looked sad. Jax asked her if she wanted to come and get a horse with him, and she nodded slightly. As they were walking, Jax told her jokes to cheer her up. As they reached the horse, she was smiling and laughing. The scene quickly changed to another. They were sitting in the field talking and laughing. It was easy to see that they were growing closer.

I was running fast through the forest. Much faster than I had ever run before. But I seemed to be aware of everything around me, the smells, the light movement of the wind, the sharpness and colours of the trees.I was gracefully swaying in and out between the trees, the placement of my feet precise.
