Chapter 39: Jax - The wolves sacrifice
I scanned the temple, amazed to see all the witches bowing in front of us. I looked over at Leaf, who stood next to Freya, tears streaming down her face.
My heart filled itself with pride. She was finally where she belonged, the leader of the witches.
It had been hard to see what had happened to Leaf. I should have been there to protect her. But at the same time, I was very grateful for Edmund.
