Chapter 46: Sky - The portal
Me and Mark had gone up from the sofa and were currently watching the last bit of sun disappear at the horizon.
“Ready to go outside?”
I nodded.
“The pack house is still open for dinner, or if you prefer we can go somewhere else,” Mark said.
“The pack house is fine,” I said as I looked at my hands. My skin was still red, but the blisters seemed to have gone away. I wouldn’t want to be out around humans looking like this, even if it wasn’t painful, I was bound to get some funny stares. At least the wolves knew me and what we all been through. They wouldn’t give it a second thought. Some of them had some gruesome scars on display themselves.

I woke up when I heard the door to the cabin close. Mark had left earlier that day to attend some pack business.
