Lori awoke in Mike's arms as she felt his hands in her hair gently separating and knots that were there. Lori lifted her head and smiled at him as she saw the look in his eyes and her heart soared. The pair didn't speak as he moved her closer and whispered, "Go back to sleep. Tomorrow will probably be another long day."

When he saw, she was ready, and he had packed up what was left of the food and clothes he had bought he led her to the car and helped her in. She looked at her phone but decided that it was best if she left it off for a little while instead laying her head back and closing her eyes. She didn't think she would hate going back to real life instead of her idyllic vacation, but a part of her didn't want to go back at all. The other part wanted nothing more than to go back and try to see what this thing with Mike was really.
